ISACA has launched its new web site with major redesign that offers ways to connect global IT community. The new website provides each user a customized and interactive experience with its network of qualified and respected members, and access to the organization’s body of knowledge.

The web site’s new features include:

• A Knowledge Center—A single location where users can view all ISACA resources—many available as free downloads—including global guidance on current business issues, publications, ISACA Journal articles, events, links and news

• Blogs—The ISACA Now blog will include posts from ISACA’s international president, CEO, and other association/industry leaders, as well as a Q&A feature. ISACA members can also create their own blogs on the site.

Cloud Computing technology is rapidly adopted by many enterprises worldwide. With the awareness of its risk assessment and security concerns, ISACA Macao Chapter held a CPD seminar with the topic of Security in the Clouds – A White Paper Digest on 22nd March 2010, at Manetic Seminar Room.  Mr. Geoffroy Thonon, president of ISACA Macao Chapter, presented the digest of the white papers on cloud computing security released by ISACA.  Audiences were shared the benefits that the enterprises may gain from cloud computing, as well as the appropriate controls suggested for risks mitigation so as  to ensure flexibility, resilience and security.  The presentation content is accessible for download.

To be able to provide the best assistance to the CISA / CISM / CGEIT exam takers, ISACA Macao Chapter has organized a short preparation seminar for the approaching exam.  A useful feature of the seminar is the mock exam with questions along with the explanation of the answers.  The mock exam will be arranged in similar conditions as that of what will be experienced on the exam day, 12th June 2010.  The seminar also benefits anyone who is thinking about taking the exam, as it will help them to decide the appropriate time to take the exam.
