The Seminar focuses on a practical approach to performing a wirelss LAN audits in a manner that will not interfere with yours or other's networks.  Furthermore, the methods of compliation and analysis of such audit results will be shared.  By attending the seminar, you will be taught how to perform an audit, prepare report, and be able to discover any alternations from policy on WLAN access points.  One CPE point can be earned by attending the seminar.

Wardriving is an annual event since 2007. This survey involves the detection of wireless local area network (WLAN) access points from public area; recording their existence and the location they were detected.

This survey is aimed to bring awareness to the public, and interested parties, of the wireless environment of Macao as at 2010.  This is an environment that is created by members of the public, which has evolved from years of installing a multitude low power wireless local area network (WLAN) access points in Macao.

The forthcoming CISA examination will be held on Saturday, 11 December 2010.  A nine-week CISA Review Course organized by The Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) - Macao Chapter, for candidates who need assistance in exam preparation or like to refresh their knowledge, is scheduled to commence on Saturday, 11th September 2010. At the end of the review course, there will be an exam simulation and some exam tactics will be provided.

Orangized by ISACA Macao Chapter, Macau Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (MOCERT) and Macau New Technologies Incubator Centre (Manetic), the event of "Clean PC Day" will be held on 26th July 2010.  The event consists of two separate activities running in parallel - The seminar of "Botnets, DDoS Trends, and Security Countermeasures" and "Clean PC activity".  The seminar focuses on current cyber attacks that affected the regions and their countermeasures shared by IT security experts from HKCERT, NSFOCUS, Prolexic and MOCERT.  "Clean PC Acitivity" is aimed to reinforce public's awareness of protecting their own PCs by learning skills of practical steps in cleaning viruses from their affected machines.  Cost for both seminar and the clean pc activity is totally FREE and three (3) valuable CPE points can be earned by attending the seminar.
